Ingredients

Put in bread machine, wet ingredients to dry. Use warm water. Start on dough cycle, help along to make sure it forms a nice smooth ball. Add water or flour as needed to adjust for more/less wet.

Divide into two - we’re making two loaves. Divide each half into 3 for a normal braid, etc. Shape as desired.

Let rise for half an hour or so. Beat the one egg, preheat the oven to 350. Once it’s up to temp, brush the loaves. Optionally top with flakey salt, etc. Bake for 25 minutes or until slightly browned.
