Step 2Prepare 9x9" baking sheet with parchment paper. Add all the ingredients, other than the vanilla extract, until it's at the hard crack temperature (use a candy thermometer). Right at that temp, add in the vanilla extract and mix it in and then pour it into a baking sheet. (Conversion for other baking sheet sizes: 4x8.5" pan is 0.42, for 12x12" pan is 1.8".) Add in chopped nuts if you want em - sprinkle them over the top.

Step 3To really spruce it up, after it cools for ~5 minutes, sprinkle the chocolate chips over the top. Let them melt, and then gently spread. Let the whole thing cool in the fridge until cold.
